Online mixing and mastering.
Most of my clients never set foot in the studio. You send files from wherever you are, I mix or master them at my studio, Ambertone Studios in Berlin, and you hear every step on your own speakers before anything is final.

The details
How remote sessions work
You send stems or a stereo mix through whatever you already use: WeTransfer, Dropbox, Google Drive, a download link. I work through it and send back a reference to check on the systems you actually know, your monitors, your headphones, your car. Notes come back with timestamps, I revise, and you get final files ready for release.
Why remote works
Being in the room matters far less than people expect. What matters is a clear brief, good references and specific feedback. Listening on your own systems is often more useful than listening on mine, because those are the speakers you trust.
Who I work with
Producers, artists and labels worldwide, from first releases to records connected to Afterlife, Anyma, Richie Hawtin, Royksopp and Solomun, across techno, house, melodic techno, pop and hip hop.
What you get
- Mixing: up to two revision rounds, stereo mix plus stems on request. More on mixing
- Mastering: one revision, release ready WAV files, DDP if a plant needs it. More on mastering
- A straight answer on timing before you commit
How it works
Send
Stems for mixing, the stereo mix for mastering. WAV or AIFF, 24 bit.
Reference
A first pass to hear on your own systems, not just mine.
Revise
Timestamped notes beat "make it punchier." Specific feedback lands faster.
Deliver
Release ready files in the formats you need.
Questions
Can you mix my track if I'm not in Berlin?
Yes. Most of my clients are remote, and the process is the same wherever you are.
Do you work with artists in the US?
Yes. Berlin is six to nine hours ahead of the US, and I take calls in my evening, which is your morning or afternoon. Quotes in USD or EUR, paid by PayPal, bank transfer or card.
How do I send my files?
Any download link works: WeTransfer, Dropbox, Google Drive or similar. Zip the folder and name the files clearly.
How do I give feedback remotely?
Timestamped notes work best, for example 1:32 vocal too loud in the chorus. Short voice notes are fine too.
Does the time difference matter?
Rarely. Everything runs asynchronously: you send files, I send references, you reply when it suits you.
Is online mastering the same as AI mastering?
No. An automated service runs your track through a preset chain. Here a person listens to your track, makes decisions for it specifically, and talks to you about them.
