Yuval Miller

Music production in Berlin

I don't only mix and master other people's records. I make my own. As one half of La Groove Machine, I write and produce electronic music that gets played by artists like Solomun, Dubfire and Deep Dish, and I bring the same work to artists I produce for: from the first idea to the finished record, through arrangement, sound and the final mix.

La Groove Machine

La Groove Machine is a Berlin based electronic music duo in the indie dance scene. We blend human grooves with modern sound and both vintage and contemporary techniques, drawing on pioneers like Daft Punk, Giorgio Moroder and Kraftwerk: retro futuristic sounds, driving house grooves and hypnotic acid lines, built for clubs.

Played and charted

  • Energy was played multiple times by Solomun at his parties.
  • The Mustache was played on BBC Radio by Dubfire and Deep Dish, and featured in Beatport's Top Indie Dance chart alongside Âme and Curses.
  • Radio play on BBC Radio, RadiOzora.FM, Dublab Los Angeles, Los40 FM, Do!!You!!! Radio London, Power Radio 93.5 FM Barcelona and Athens Best 92.6, among others.

Live

Live shows at ://about blank and Süss War Gestern in Berlin, and Badehaus Berlin at MicroFest Festival.

Production questions

Can you produce from a demo or a rough idea?

Yes. Production can start from a voice memo, a loop or a finished demo. We work out the direction together, then build the track through arrangement and sound.

Can you also mix and master what we produce?

Yes. Keeping production, mixing and mastering in one pair of hands means the track never loses its direction between stages.

What kind of music do you produce?

Mostly electronic music: indie dance, house, techno and melodic styles, the world La Groove Machine lives in. If you're working in another genre, get in touch and we'll see if it's a fit.
